Megan Richardson
Salon owner

My name is Megan and I am a 32 year old mother and practitioner from Ashford.
Believe it or not My career started in 2010 when I qualified to be a hairdresser! I loved my job, but the salon environment was really tough back then, and my peers weren’t always so welcoming.
It was in 2013 when I couldn’t take it anymore and moved over to doing hair, nails and spray tans at home, and had finally found a salon that treated me fairly. It was at this salon where I met my wonderful trainer Josie . Eventually I opened my own salon in 2021 in cranbrook.
I desperately wanted to create a safe space for shy people like myself who didnt fit in with the hustle and falsity of the places I had been in my first years.
My clients would show up in their p jays, formal dress, and sometimes with tears in their eyes, and we would laugh and cry together like old friends.
It was what I always wanted and I finally felt like i belonged.
Of course as human nature demands; once you have completed one goal another takes it’s place.
My books were full, my craft was perfected, and my mind was getting restless.
Itching for a new challenge I dove into the word of aesthetics. by the beginning of 2023 and while I was very heavily pregnant I had already qualified in my first two courses. Passing my anatomy and physiology was such a proud moment for me! It gave me the confidence to go into my first needling service with the knowledge from decades of research from those who have come before me.
It’s safe to say the fire was lit, and i steamrolled into other services such as advanced fillers, skin boosters, Fat dissolving, complications training, and other advanced anti ageing treatments,
It’s safe to say that I am obsessed! And even after THOUSANDS of pounds in training, and a hell of a lot blood sweat and tears I could not be happier!
This industry is not only the challenge I needed, but such a welcoming community!
So here we are, years in the making, one salon of my own, two children in toe, and with a little luck, a legacy to leave them.
